    ALKI BEACH
    Picture a perfect summer day, and chances are your thoughts will take you to Alki Beach Park, a long beach strip that runs from Alki Point to Duwamish Head on Elliott Bay. It's a great spot for a 2.5 mile walk any time of year, and in the summer draws joggers, rollerbladers, volleyball players, beachcombers, sunbathers, bicyclists and strollers out to enjoy the sun.

    GAS WORKS PARK & LAKE UNION
    Gas Works Park has a play area with a large play barn, and big hill popular for flying kites. Special park features include a sundial, and a beautiful view of Seattle.

    GOLDEN GARDENS & SHILSHOLE BAY MARINA
    Located in Ballard on Puget Sound, this popular park offers extraordinary views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.

    GREEN LAKE PARK
    Green Lake is one of Seattles most beloved parks. Its expanse of water and green space in the center of a dense urban neighborhood draws thousands of people daily from all over the city. The park serves as a natural preserve for hundreds of species of trees and plants, as well as numerous birds and waterfowl.

    KUBOTA GARDEN
    Hidden in South Seattle, Kubota Garden is a stunning 20 acre landscape that blends Japanese garden concepts with native Northwest plants. The city acquired the property, which is an historic landmark, in 1987 from the estate of master landscaper Fujitaro Kubota.

    LINCOLN PARK
    Great park in West Seattle offering hiking, swimming pool, tennis, beautiful beaches and BBQ and picnic areas.

    MYRTLE EDWARDS PARK
    Myrtle Edwards Park has a 1.25-mile winding bike and pedestrian paths along Elliott Bay, fantastic views of the Olympics Mountains, Mount Rainier, and Puget Sound, easy access from downtown and easy connection to bike paths to Magnolia.

    OLYMPIC SCULPTURE PARK
    The Olympic Sculpture Park is a vibrant, 9-acre green space for people to experience art outdoors.

    SEATTLE WATERFRONT
    Seattle has one of the most magnificent, awe-inspiring seaports in the world. The views are spectacular; the popular Summer Nights at the Pier concerts play at sublime Pier 62/63. The Seattle Aquarium, the Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center are also here. The old streetcar clangs along the length of the waterfront, and the green spaces of Myrtle Edwards Park take over from the concrete mayhem at the northern end.

    SEWARD PARK
    Within the Seattle city limits, Seward park boasts 300 acres of beautiful forest land - home to eagles' nests, old growth forest, a 2.4 mile bike and walking path, an amphitheater, a native plant garden, an art studio, miles of hiking trails, and more.

    PIKE PLACE MARKET
    Located in the heart of downtown Seattle. The oldest continually operating farmers market in the country, it is a place where farmers, craftspeople, and artists display their goods.

    PIONEER SQUARE
    The original Seattle downtown, Pioneer Square is made up of six city blocks of restored century-old buildings. They now house shops, restaurants, offices, nightclubs and galleries.

    PORT OF SEATTLE
    Transportation services are provided by more than 30 steamshipline/agents, 30 tug/barge operators, and more than 150 truck/warehouse operators. In addition, the Port runs Shilshole Bay Marina, Fishermen'sTerminal, Bell Harbor Marina and Harbor Island Marina with over 2,300 berths for pleasure craft and commercial fishing vessels. The Port's two cruise ship facilities will host over 200 ship calls and 750,000 cruise passengers.

    SEATTLE AQUARIUM
    The Seattle Aquarium is a nationally recognized aquatic educational center built in 1977 by the City of Seattle on Pier 59, at the edge of Puget Sound's Elliott Bay. The Aquarium is open daily and serves three-quarters of a million visitors annually.

    SEATTLE CENTER
    Seattle Center reflects the heartbeat of a great city. One of the nation's most extraordinary urban parks and entertainment centers, with over 10 million visitors a year, It is home to Seattle's definitive space needle and the Key Arena.
